Outdoor Chairs
We have 7 main styles of chairs, the ‘Moreton Bay’, ‘Stradbroke’, ‘Chevron’ Lo Carver, ‘Capri’ Hi Carver, ‘Varsity Lakes’ Alfresco, ‘Oyster Cove’ deck chair and the ‘Tamborine’ Hi-Bar chair. All chairs are made from 28mm Kwila framing and 19mm slats with stainless steel fittings to ensure long life. All chairs are sold fully assembled and pre-oiled with most being a massive 500mm wide in the seat area. All are made in Australia by Australian craftsmen. Due to the ever improving manufacturing processes that we employ we reserve the right to make small changes to the design of these chairs as circumstances require – you are advised to ensure you are happy with the chair style you have selected before placing your order.
Moreton Bay
The Moreton Bay chair is our simplest and most modest chair ideally suited to applications requiring a more modest budget and price focus. The Moreton Bay does not have arms but does retain the main structural features to ensure it maintains its robust nature.
Stradbroke
The Stradbroke chair is our most popular chair accounting for 95% of all chair sales. It has a relatively low profile, is very robust, sturdy and durable with a massive 500mm seat width. The slats are 19mm and main support framing is 28mm. The Stradbroke has a concave back for added comfort and ‘fit’.
Chevron Lo Carver
The Chevron Lo Carver has a higher profile than the Stradbroke and has
a moulded back to give a modest amount of lumbar support while maintaining
the very generous 500mm seat width. It is our second most popular chair
and has a classic style best suited to more formal dining occasions – a
great looking chair for any occasion.
Capri Hi Carver
The Capri Hi Carver is our tallest dining chair and has the same lumbar profiling as the Chevron Lo Carver and the same extra wide seat width of 500mm. In all respects it is identical to the Chevron Lo Carver apart from the extra height in the back. It can be mixed and matched with the Lo Carver too create a more dramatic look.
Varsity Lakes Alfresco
The Varsity Lakes Alfresco chair is Leisurewood Kwila Outdoor Furniture’s equivalent of the functional and classic director’s chair. To ensure its rigidity and lifetime durability it is not foldable – the slings come in a wide range of colors, styles and patterns and also come with padded options on both the back and base. This is a very robust and practical chair for all occasions.
Oyster Cove Deck Chair
A very comfortable and stylish deck chair that is a special design of Leisurewood Kwila Outdoor Furniture – it folds up to a very convenient and easily portable deck chair for those weekends away or a day on the beach or in the country for those special family picnics. This deck chair is a fantastic addition to any outdoor relaxation area.
Tamborine Hi-Bar Chair
