Leisurewood Kwila Outdoor Furniture products can also be customised to the individual needs of our customers.  We have made many adjustments to our standard Kwila products to meet particular and peculiar needs and have also created new Kwila products at the request of our customers.  We are proud of our ability to customise and provide solutions to meet needs that cannot be met through traditional retail outlets.  If you have a need for a particular sized table, that perfect sun lounge, a great new outdoor fridge cabinet, a special table or bench design, that cannot be met in the normal market we would be happy to discuss your requirements with you.

Custom Furniture Guidelines

Here are step by step guidelines that will help you process a custom order :

1) Show Us Your Idea
Present us with a sketch, drawing, or photograph of an item you're interested in having us reproduce and manufacture. Please include as much information as possible including dimensions, choice of wood color, finish, and hardware. If you're interested in variable quotes then submit additional information that applies to each job. The sketch, drawing, or photograph does not have to be professional. We only need a general idea of what you would like us to make. You can send us a sketch by email (sales@leisurewood.net.au), or fax (07-55378133), or by coming into our showroom in Labrador QLD. If you send us drawings or other graphics by e-mail please send the file type as a JPEG, EPS, TIFF, or PDF file.

2) We'll then provide a Drawing & Price Estimate
After we receive step 1 there are two ways we can give you a price quote: 1) We can give you a ball-park figure based on your sketches and designs. 2) We can give you an exact quote if you allow us to make a design, but there is a design fee of $75. We recommend a design because it is usually more detailed and shows the design to scale and has correct proportion.

3) Customer Reviews Design & Specs
The customer double checks dimensions and design and makes any necessary modifications. If needed, we will make additional drawings to fine-tune the order until the customer is satisfied.

4) Customer Signs Custom Order & Policy Forms
Once a custom order drawing has been decided upon, the customer receives a custom order form and policy to review and sign. This includes all specifications including drawings and price. The customer should look this over carefully and then sign it as changes cannot be made after the order is processed. We require full payment for custom orders before processing.

5) Order is processed
After the forms are signed and we have received payment from the customer, the order is processed. It takes approximately 3-4 weeks to manufacture and deliver a custom order.

Custom Furniture Order Policy

Wood Quality & Condition: Leisurewood Kwila Outdoor Furniture’s furniture and accessories are manufactured using premium Kwila and other woods and traditional craftsmanship. Our furniture is guaranteed for 5 years and is made to last many lifetimes. However, due to dramatic changes in temperature or humidity any solid wood furniture can sometimes crack or warp. These natural occurrences can not be considered our responsibility as they are beyond our control. We do take precautions to prevent such occurrences, such as kiln drying the wood and crafting the furniture in a manner so it may breathe, expand, and adjust too many types of weather conditions. We don't frequently experience such problems, but we need to warn the customer that it can happen.

Color Finish: Leisurewood Kwila Outdoor Furniture does its best to match the finished color of our furniture to the customer’s preference. However, all our products are made at different times of the year by our own craftsmen and it is impossible to achieve an exact color match every time. Variations in color and tone can arise due to different air humidity and temperatures, variations in wood color, variations in milling and processing procedures between millers and slight variation in treating oils. All these factors can contribute to anything from 0-8% variation from the preferred color. We can not guarantee exact color duplication and will not be responsible for subtle or minute differences.

Furniture Size: Dimensions may differ slightly by up to 25mm on any give spec. such as height, width, or depth of the final size. This sometimes happens for the following reasons:

• The specifications a customer provides to us may not always be the most practical dimensions in order to craft the furniture. Often, slight adjustments to dimensions need to be made in order to achieve correct craftsmanship, evenness, and balance.
• We convert inches to the metric system. These two systems are slightly different from each other. There is no exact conversion of inches into metric; therefore the dimensions will be off slightly. If dimensions need to be changed we will always round the measurement down rather than up. What this means is you may end up with furniture that is slightly smaller then what you ordered, but it will never be larger. This allows us to assure that furniture which has been measured to fit a precise space will always fit (even if it is a little smaller) rather then being too large to be placed in that space.
